8U Rec Girls Softball

Welcome to 8U Recreational Girls Softball in Louisville and Superior, Colorado—where young athletes learn the fundamentals of softball in a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment. Our 8U program is designed for girls ages 6–8 who are new to the sport or continuing to develop their skills through coach-pitch. Players learn the core skills of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, base running, and teamwork while building friendships that last beyond the season. Practices and games are held on local fields throughout Louisville, offering a convenient and community-centered experience for families. Coaches focus on positive instruction, skill development, and encouraging a love for the game—no prior experience required. Whether your athlete is picking up a glove for the first time or growing her passion for softball, our 8U recreational league provides a safe, energetic, and enjoyable way to learn, play, and have fun. 80027 Softball offers two seasons per year of 8U recreational softball:  

Fall Season - Registration for the Fall Season opens in early July.  Practices begin the third week of August and games begin the weekend after Labor Day.  Practices are typically 1 to 2 days per week.  In the Fall season of 8U rec softball, all games are played on Saturdays.

Spring Season - Registration for the Spring Season opens in early January. Practices begin around April 1st and games begin in May. Practices are 1 to 2 days per week. In the Spring season of 8U rec softball, games can be scheduled for any day of the week.  We attempt to schedule games on days with the least amount of schedule conflicts for that team.
